Braun Properties is a small, family business renting apartments in Ames for more than 25 years. With locations in West Ames and Central Ames, we are able to provide high quality units at an affordable price, while still being near Iowa State University and CyRide. We offer a variety of 3 and 4 bedroom units with spacious layouts. Most of all, we value our tenants and your living experience. Rent varies depending on the number of bedrooms and floor plan, which range from 890 - 1,644 square feet. Our spacious apartments typically range from $1,050 - $1,450 per unit.
Rent for each property includes trash, snow removal, and lawn care. Some properties include a garage and in-unit laundry, while others have a shared laundry room for the building with coin operated machines. Please check the property listing or contact us for more information.
Our standard lease term is 12 months, starting August 1st.
Unfortunately we do not rent any units by the room, in order to avoid complications that come with not knowing your roommate. However, if you are in need of roommates, many people have success by looking on Facebook/Instagram for a compatible roommate.
839 / 841 Dickinson Avenue: The closest CyRide stop is on the corner of Dickinson Ave and Steinbeck St - it is kitty corner to our building and will only take a minute or two to walk there.
320 S Fourth St: There are a handful of stops around S Third St and S Walnut Ave - within roughly a 3 minute walk.
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. You can make your payment by dropping off a check or certified funds in the rent box located in the laundry room of 841 Dickinson Ave. Rent can also be mailed to: 1251 Noble Hills Place, Boone, IA 50036.
